NOTE TO SELF... DIY #2  For this DIY I decided to make something that could be a cute decoration idea, but with a purpose. There are many ways you would be able to do this, but this is how I did mine.  To start the DIY off your going to need a picture frame. DIY #1 1000 Origami Cranes~ Each week I'll be sharing some DIY projects I think is a fun way to bring some creativity into your day! THIS WEEK..... ***1000 ORIGAMI CRANES FOR GOOD LUCK*** The Japanese word, "origami" is a combination of two words in Japanese: "ori" which means "to fold" and kami" which means "paper". It is believed that Japanese origami began in the 6th century and because of the high cost paper, origami was only used for religious purposes. It was believed that if one folded 1000 origami cranes, one's wish would come true. As a result, it has become popular to fold 1000 cranes. The cranes are strung together on strings, usually 25 strings of 40 cranes each - and given as gifts. Want to read more about the origami crane? Heres where I got my information -   https://www.jccc.on.ca/origami-cranes/pdf/meaning_of_the_origami_crane.pdf I actually never heard about this until my mom brought it up. She wa...
